How to Use Your Kernelcoin

Once you've received your Kernelcoin, here's how to manage and use it.

Download Kernelcoin Wallet

Official Kernelcoin binaries are available on GitHub. Download the appropriate version for your operating system:

To start a local wallet with GUI, run:

                        ./kernelcoin-qt
                    

This will launch the Kernelcoin wallet with a graphical interface and start syncing with the network.

Configure RPC Access

To enable API access for programmatic interaction with your local wallet, you need to configure RPC settings. Create a configuration file with the following content:

listen=1

logtimestamps=1

server=1

rpcuser=user

rpcpassword=pass

rpcport=9332

rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

rpcbind=127.0.0.1

Configuration file location:

macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Kernelcoin/kernelcoin.conf
Linux: ~/.kernelcoin/kernelcoin.conf
Windows: %AppData%/Kernelcoin/kernelcoin.conf

Security Note: Change the default rpcuser and rpcpassword values to something secure for production use!

Import to Kernelcoin CLI Wallet

To import your private key into the Kernelcoin command-line wallet, use the following command:

                        ./kernelcoin-cli importprivkey "YOUR_WIF_PRIVATE_KEY"
                    

Replace YOUR_WIF_PRIVATE_KEY with the WIF private key shown when you requested your coin.
